After strict testing and inspection, Jimi & Concox GT06E 3G GPS tracker is approved by the NBTC and DLT successfully.
What is NBTC & DLT certification?
NBTC is a wireless certification in Thailand. The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission, referred to as NBTC, is a national agency affiliated with the Ministry of Industry. It is responsible for formulating all relevant laws and regulations of Thailand's RF (radio frequency) / Telecom (communications), setting the priority of standards, and selecting qualified technical committee member candidates, reviewing applications and issuing licenses under the certification program.
DLT refers to the Department of Land Transport. It is a subsidiary of the Ministry of Transport in Thailand. The main functions are:
improving traffic laws, vehicle regulations and other related regulations; improving public transportation facilities; developing land transportation networks, vehicle inspections and annual inspections. Vehicle testing and certification is the responsibility of its Automotive Engineering Bureau. Thailand is a certification system that combines compulsory and voluntary certification. Motor vehicle parts are compulsory certification products.
Why NBTC & DLT certification is important?
The NBTC is classified as the certification of wireless WWAN/WLAN products. It is of great authority in Thailand. The wireless products approved by NBTC also means high quality.
The Department of Land Transport (DLT) issued a new law in January 2017, requiring all public buses, trailers and trucks with more than 10 wheels to be fitted with GPS navigation systems, realizing real-time information to DLT service centers while the vehicle is moving.
